Our Story

In 1999 our Founder, Rizwan Kermalli founded Canada Worldwide Services Inc. which offered a range of logistics services including freight forwarding, warehousing, customs brokerage, and distribution.

In 2005, he embarked on a venture that would eventually transform the shipping and logistics landscape in Canada. At that time, the internet was still in its infancy, but he saw a future where the internet would play a pivotal role in the way we do business. His determination drove him to create the first online shipping platform in Canada, offering competitive shipping rates and services to small businesses through the aggregate volumes of multiple users on his platform.

With the rise of eCommerce a few years later, and with decades of logistics expertise under his belt, Rizwan went on to build partnerships, start new companies, and acquire sister companies that would transform eShipper into an integrated solution, bringing a fully tailored logistics ecosystem to eCommerce sellers across North America.

eShipper is now being led by a team dedicated to driving Rizwan’s vision into the future.

Imran Kermalli, our CMO, was the first to recognize eShipper’s position as a tech company in the logistics world.

He helped rebuild the company from the ground up, focusing on innovative, scalable technology and pivoting to position eShipper as a tech provider to the logistics industry and a shipping provider to the eCommerce industry. In 2022, Imran took over the Marketing Department he started back in 2015, where he continues to shape the eShipper brand and support the company’s growth into a logistics powerhouse across North America.

Since joining eShipper in 2015, our CRO, Imtiaz Kermali, has built highly successful teams across all departments, attaining 10x company-wide growth and delivering consistent service for customers by creating synergy between all of eShipper’s operational and service divisions.

He is focused on building end-to-end solutions for our clients and establishing eShipper as the trusted partner for businesses of all sizes, with a vision to set the standard in the transportation industry through innovation and thought leadership.

Our COO, Mo Datoo, has established and cemented relationships with many of our strategic partners while building and scaling all the support and operational frameworks at eShipper.

He oversees these frameworks as part of his mission to achieve and sustain growth. Mo also leads the teams responsible for developing the technology on which eShipper’s entire infrastructure is built; his goal is to continue to drive this infrastructure forward as the logistics industry evolves, by building value-driven offerings and creating custom tech solutions that make eShipper an intricate extension of our customers’ businesses. In doing so, he will usher the company into a new era in logistics, making eShipper a true mainstay and driver of large businesses.
