Does eShipper allow me to get online quotes?
Yes you can get instant quotes for any type of shipment whether it is courier, air freight, trucking or expedited service.

 

Can eShipper be integrated into my shopping cart system?
eShipper can be integrated with almost any electronic infrastructure available today.

 

How soon after I sign up can I begin actually shipping?
You can begin shipping immediately.

 

Do I need to have high speed Internet access to utilize eShipper?
No, a regular dial modem connection (56k) will work just fine.

 

What are the requirements needed to utilize eShipper?
You will need Internet Access, Computer with minimal system requirements (486 or higher), Internet Explorer Browser (version 6 or higher) – free download available from our site, Adobe Reader (version 6 or higher) – free download available from our site

 

Are there any monthly fees or any other hidden fees associated with being an eShipper member?
There are no other fees whatsoever!

 

How much time will it take me to learn how to use eShipper?
eShipper is designed to be user friendly and can be learned very quickly even if you have very basic computer skills. Basically eShipper is as easy to use as it is to compose and send an email. Even a child could use it.

 

Does eShipper offer warehousing and fulfillment services as well?
Yes we can warehouse your stock, pick and pack your products and fulfill your orders direct from our facility. This can be integrated with your online website or existing call center order taking infrastructure. Through your online control panel you will have visibility into all of your shipping, tracking and inventory in real-time.

 

Can more than one person be processing shipments at the same time?
Yes you can have as many people as you like on the system at the same time.

 

Does eShipper allow me to keep an address book for my regular customers?
Yes you can keep a database of regular customers in your address book to save time in retyping the same address information day after day. Larger lists can be easily imported into the system.

 

Can eShipper import address lists for large distributions?
Yes, you can run your large distributions through eShipper as easy as 1-2-3!

 

Can eShipper keep track of my inventory of items and update the totals when items are shipped?
eShipper can keep track of your inventory and update all totals in the database using the add-on Procurement module.

 

What is eShipper insurance?
When you book high-value shipments on eShipper, you can choose to insure your items in case of loss or damage during transit. Please keep in mind, for all courier shipments you are automatically covered for up to $100 without insurance.

You have two options for insurance:

    • Carrier insurance, which is provided directly from your carrier (UPS, FedEx, etc). The cost differs from carrier to carrier for each $100 after the first $100 which is covered automatically.

 

    • eShipper insurance, covered by our insurer in-house is $0.75 for each $100 after the first $100, which is covered automatically for courier shipments.

 

  • eShipper insurance, covered by our insurer in-house is $1.25 for each $100 for LTL Shipments

 

Can I check your rates without registering?
You do have to register with eShipper in order to see our rates. Fortunately, there is no cost to register your business on eShipper. Once you have done so, you will be able to see the preferred pricing on all domestic and global couriers, as well as all North American skid/pallet shipments.
For enterprise clients, corporate entities and franchised corporations, we are happy to do a cost analysis to compare your current shipping rates to ours.

What kind of shipments can I book on eShipper?
On eShipper you can book domestic and global courier (small parcel). You can also ship skids/pallets anywhere in North America, excluding Mexico (up to 6 skids or 12 stackable).
For pricing on full truckload (FTL), international air skids, warehousing or any other logistics activity not on eShipper, please contact your account representative or email sales@eshipper.com.

 

What if I already have an account with one or more of these carriers?

Is there a cost to register or use eShipper?
There is no cost to register or use eShipper.
The only reason we ask for your credit card information is for billing when you make shipments.

 

Why do I have to give my credit card information if there is no cost?
When you book shipments on eShipper, we pay the carriers on your behalf. Your credit card allows us to bill you for those shipments.
Alternatively, if you do not wish to leave a credit card on your account, you may complete a credit application. We require that customers completing a credit application ship a minimum of $500/month.

 

Do I have to ship a minimum amount to get these preferred rates?
No! One of the many benefits of the eShipper platform is that you do not have to meet or maintain any volume requirements whatsoever in order to get the preferred pricing we offer.
